Letters to the Editor

Dear editors,

Please forward this on to Richard Cardone, or print it so that he will see it. I appreciate it very much.

Dear Richard,

On behalf of the Hecate Sickle staff in general, and the ritual staff in particular, thank you, thank you, thank you! Such kind words mean more to us than you know. We quite often hear no feedback as to the effectiveness of the ritual produced, and it has been stirring to hear that you were affected so deeply. Sickle is the most inwardly looking ritual of our year, and because of that is one of the most uncomfortable for many.

I was concerned that you missed the final bit of the ritual, that the resolution was absent for you. I hope that it has not been too horrible to work through on your own. I think that writing out your perceptions and feelings regarding the ritual was a definite help in working out the emotions Samhain stirs up! It was clear, concise - and best of all, heartfelt. The article was exciting for us to read - most of all, because you got it! I actually got shivers up the back of my neck as you described the ritual for everyone to understand. I was seeing the ritual from someone else's point of view, seeing it with new eyes after reading the script for the umpteenth time and making certain props were where they were supposed to be - or at least close by! This was, by far, the best gift of the Samhain ritual.

Thank you again, Richard!

Blessings, Terri (TJ) Jones

Dear Terri,

Glad you enjoyed the review! Richard will certainly get your letter and appreciate your comments.

The Widdershins staff

Dear editors,

Hey, I love Widdershins... and want to take the opportunity to say "thanks" for providing such a wonderful vehicle for learning.

Sincerely,

Lady Morgana

Dear editors,

Merry meet!

Please sign me up! I am in desperate need of witches and the Northwest. I haven't seen a Starbuck's or a real ferry in over two years. My husband and I are stuck down in the buckle of the Bible Belt, which is a little binding to say the least. My electronic getaways are just about all we have currently.

Thanks for this wonderful opportunity to receive a pagan publication.

Blessed be,

Misha

Dear readers,

Thanks for the kind words. But don't go to Starbuck's - they use sunbeam coffees, cheaper coffees that grow in the sun and for which rainforest trees are cut down. Organic coffee is better and is usually grown in the shade. SBC is safe if you need your coffee fix.
