These community notices are available for announcements of interest to the community. Send them by mail or e-mail to us.
The Raven's Call is provided free as a space for all pagans and like-minded folks to post notices for the local and World Wide Web community. Any news you think either community might be interested in, including such things as public gatherings and announcements of births, Wiccanings, handfastings, rites of passage, deaths, the formation of new groups, promotions to priestess or priest and anything else you think bears mention goes in this column. The people want to know! If you have any information to share, please send the particulars to us.
A special thank you and big hugs go to Andy for picking up the last issue - and to Andy for his invaluable, if never-ending work on production. Many thanks also to: Jerry Kaufman for his great copyediting skills, Dedric for his diligence maintaining the Widdershins World Wide Web page, Crystal and Topaz for their help with the calendar, Ash for working on the advertising, Bonnie for organizing and maintaining subscriptions and Erika for her superb proofreading skills! Widdershins has been publishing a community events calendar for the entire time we have been in existence, at no charge to the event organizers. We cannot print a calendar if we have no events! If you want to be able to see a calendar of events, we urge you to ask your organizations to submit their events before the deadline.
To all of the event organizers: We will not be able to call everyone anymore to get the calendar information, so if you want your events in the calendar - please send them in a timely manner. If anyone is inclined to take on the job of organizing the calendar, please call Sylvana at (206) 363-7896. You'll gain our deep appreciation! Email events to sylvanas@widdershins.org
