Apology

We are sorry that we inadvertently left out contact information for our Oestara interviewee, Eaglesong. Her contact information is: Eaglesong, P.O. Box 229, Startup, WA 98293, phone (360) 794-2938.

Please contact her directly for more information, or for a list of classes and events, see the calendar.

Druid Invasion!

A new branch of the British Druid Order (BDO) was formed in Seattle on April 22, at a Gorsedd held at Volunteer Park.

Due to the efforts of a number of Seattle people, mainly Leon Reed, the chiefs of the BDO Phillip Shallcrass and Emma (Bobcat) Restall Orr were here from Great Britain to visit our fair city and to begin a new druid tradition here in Seattle.

There were somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 to 90 people initiated into the Bardic Tradition of the Caer Pugetia. Look for more information on this group as it will be holding additional public events in the future.

Advertising Rep Needed!

Widdershins is supported solely through the advertising that appears in its pages. This support has so far not been enough to pay for putting out the paper, so we need people willing to put in some time sending out information, making calls to potential advertisers and following up with current advertisers that need a reminder call. We can't pay you, but we will give free ads if you're willing and able to make a commitment. Prior sales experience helpful but not necessary. Please call Sylvana at 363-7896, press 1 and leave a message. Thank you!

An Excellent Way to Support Widdershins!

We know it's not always easy, and sometimes it's impossible, to find Widdershins at the distribution points. Since so many of you have requested it - you may now subscribe to Widdershins and have it delivered by mail right to your door!

The paper will still be free at any of the distribution points, and you can still download the text version from the World Wide Web http: site. Now there is an option for those of you without computers and those who live in other parts of the country or the world.

That's right, for only $20 per year in the United States (prices higher elsewhere, see following for details) you can have each issue sent directly to you or to a friend, first class, as soon as it's published.

Send us a check or money order and the subscription form today and get the next print issue mailed to you!

Prices:

Regular subscriptions:

United States: $20 per year (8 issues)
Mexico, Canada: $26 per year (8 issues)
Everywhere else: $30 per year (8 issues)

All prices in U.S. dollars only.

If you would like to further support Widdershins in its purpose, you may choose a contributing or supporting subscription. A list of contributing and supporting subscribers will be printed in each issue, unless you request your name not be printed. A contributing or supporting subscription makes a great gift for your coven members, high priest and priestess or family and friends.

Contributing subscriptions: $50 per year
Supporting subscriptions: $100 per year

Donations for any amount always gladly accepted!

Hugs, Kisses and Kudos!

The people who, issue after issue, do the work to make Widdershins happen are often unsung heroes, I would like to publicly say thank you, and express my appreciation and send big hugs to; Andy, Baruch, Bestia, Bonnie, Candace, Cuchulaine, Dedric, Felicia, Leopard, Melanie, NightOwl, Wülfgar and all of the people who have done interviews and written articles and anyone else I may have forgotten!

Thank you all so much! Goddess bless you all always! Love to all, Sylvana.

Grant Us This Boon, O Goddess!

We still need several things. So we are asking whoever might be listening: if anyone is upgrading their machines or would like to support the paper by donating any of the following IBM-compatible equipment - a full page scanner, a printer that prints 11-by-17-inch paper, a 17-inch full-page tilt monitor or even a whole new computer with a processor faster than 66 megahertz - we'd be thrilled to accept it. It would certainly make our lives easier if we had more modern equipment to work with. Plus, the paper would get produced earlier! We also would be happy to accept cash donations toward any of the above.

Thank you and blessings to all, the Widdershins staff.
