Because you're perfect. Because you can. Because you know all the old Craft secrets and want to pass them on, or not.

Because you like to tell people what to do. Because someone has to do it. Because someone asked you to teach them something. Because you want the karma points and are not well enough organized to pull of large public events.

Because you want to be a BNW (big name witch). Being called a "teacher" sounds so cool. Having people look up to you is fun. You want to be a guru but lack the skill or charisma to pull it off.

Because you like the power. Because you have no power of your own. Because you think you have something to offer your students. Because you need a social life. Because you need a boy/girl friend. Because you need a coven.

Because your broom came from the first bush. Because you have psychic superpowers. Because no one does it right except you. Because no one knows the truth besides you and even then sometimes you get confused.

Because you like controversy. You are a gossip queen and shit stirrer par excellence. Because you want to be "in the know." Because if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Because you're always right, because no one dares call you on your shit. Because you're a nutbar.

Because you believe in and love the gods. Because you have a desire to help people to learn. Because you want to give something back to your community. Because you know that you will never know it all and you always have something to learn from even the most green student. Because you're a glutton for punishment. Because you're willing to stand in the fire. Because you want to see your tradition survive long into the future.
